I have been a part of the Allen ISD Family since 2000. I began teaching in the district at Boyd Elementary, but made a change back in 2003 to open Marion Elementary. I spent eight years teaching 4th grade, one year teaching 6th grade English/Language Arts, and completed a one-year Administrative Internship at Marion and Cheatham Elementary Schools. I then served as Marion's Assistant Principal for 4 years. I am thrilled to begin my third year at Rountree Elementary and yhird year to return to Cheatham, working with our early childhood program. Allen ISD is my home!

I grew up in Euless, Texas, and graduated from Trinity High School. I went on to get my Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University in education with a focus on language arts. I completed my Master's of Education Administration and a Master's in the Art of Teaching through Grand Canyon University.
 
I have over 24 years of experience in education that span both middle school and elementary school. I am beginning my 20th school year in Allen and have enjoyed raising my own children in Allen ISD. Please check out the "My Family" section of my website to learn more about my amazing family!

In addition to my work at school, my personal family thrives on philanthropy and focus on families and children. I enjoy travelling and taking mission trips with my family.
