Allen ISD Moves to 3 Week At-Home Learning for All Students

Allen ISD Moves to 3 Week At-Home Learning for All Students

On July 17, 2020, Allen ISD announced it would move to an At-Home Learning virtual model for at least the first three weeks of school for all students. Students will not attend campus for any In-Person instruction during this time.

All students will begin the first day of school on August 12 participating in At-Home Learning. During this three-week period, AISD teachers and staff will report to district facilities to focus on the education of your children. This will allow our staff to utilize campus resources and instructional tools to provide students with structured and engaging learning opportunities. Following the three-week period, on September 2, our plan is for students who have chosen In-Person Learning to return to campus, and students who have chosen At-Home Learning to continue to learn from home. To provide as much consistency as possible, Allen ISD will make every effort for students to have the same teachers and classmates during and after this three-week period.
