Kindergarten registration for the 2026-2027 school year is now open.
Enroll your incoming kindergarten students and get ready for an exciting new academic journey.
Families are encouraged to register as early as possible to begin receiving important information from their child’s campus and ensure a smooth transition into the school year.
To be eligible for kindergarten, students must be five years old on or before September 1, 2026.
Important Dates for the 2025-2026 School Year:
- March 2, 2026 – Kindergarten registration begins
- August 13, 2026 – First day of school
- September 1, 2026 – Students must be five years old by this date to enroll
To begin the enrollment application process:
- Complete the New Student Online Enrollment application and upload the required enrollment documents in Step 1 and Step 2.
- The enrollment documents required can be found on the documentation checklist.
Texas state law requires a child to be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1 to be eligible to enroll in Kindergarten.

Pre-K students currently enrolled and attending Allen ISD at Anderson Early Childhood School for the 2025-2026 school year do not need to re-enroll for Kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year.
