The Foundation For Allen Schools has reached a major milestone, investing more than $5 million back into Allen ISD programs and classrooms since 1997.

The milestone comes as the Foundation prepares to celebrate its 30-year partnership with Allen ISD next year. Through scholarship support, classroom grants, teacher mentorship, and other district initiatives, the Foundation continues to support students, teachers, and staff across Allen ISD.

Earlier this semester, the Foundation awarded 169 scholarships totaling $216,950 to Allen High School seniors in the class of 2026. The scholarship program provides financial support to graduating seniors as they prepare for their next steps after high school.

The Foundation is also preparing to announce its 2026 to 2027 grant awards for Allen ISD staff and teachers. These grants help support classroom programs, campus initiatives, and instructional opportunities that benefit students throughout the district.

In addition to scholarships and grants, the Foundation supports the Teacher Mentor Program for new and new to Allen ISD teachers. Through this program, mentor teachers receive stipends in recognition of the time, commitment, and guidance they provide to educators who are new to the profession or new to the district.

Mentor teachers serve as experienced partners for beginning educators. They share strategies, offer feedback, and help new teachers navigate the daily responsibilities of the classroom and school community. This support creates opportunities for conversation, reflection, and professional growth.

For new teachers, a strong mentor can help build confidence, strengthen instructional practices, and create a sense of connection and support. Early experiences in the classroom often shape teacher success and long-term commitment to the profession.

By investing in mentor teachers, new educators, classroom grants, and student scholarships, the Foundation supports Allen ISD’s culture of collaboration, continuous growth, and long-term success.

Thank you to the Foundation For Allen Schools for supporting Allen ISD programs and classrooms since 1997.
