Allen High School FFA students recently competed at the State Career Development Events held in Huntsville and College Station. These events challenge students to apply classroom knowledge to real-world agricultural scenarios while building leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills.
State Career Development Events are part of a larger program known as Career and Leadership Development Events, where FFA members in grades 7ā12 participate in team and individual competitions designed to foster teamwork and promote ethical decision-making.
The Allen High School Farm and Agribusiness Management team placed second in the state. Team members included Kathrine Schwab, Harper Labue, Reagan Reed, and Megan Boisvert.
In the Marketing Plan category, Campbell Pinkstaff, Pamela Moreira, and Ida Johnson earned ninth place.
The Veterinary Science team of Kevin Tran, Ash Ellison, Miriam Weart, and Gabby Dodds placed seventh overall.
Congratulations to these Allen High School FFA students and advisors on their outstanding achievements.
