“A Wickedly Enchanting Evening” Draws Families to Annual Father Daughter Dance

Allen ISD recently hosted its annual Father Daughter Dance, themed “A Wickedly Enchanting Evening.” The 2025 event brought families together for a night of music, laughter, and lasting memories.

Held in two sessions to accommodate different age groups, the dance welcomed Pre-K through 2nd grade attendees to the Emerald Waltz from 5 to 6:30 p.m., followed by Glinda’s Gala for 3rd through 6th graders from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

Each session featured dancing, light refreshments, and the opportunity to take professional portraits. Families dressed to match the whimsical, storybook-inspired theme, creating a festive and imaginative atmosphere throughout the evening.

Attendance was open on a first-come, first-served basis, with ticket purchases required for each specific dance session. While suggested grade levels were provided for each session, Allen ISD encouraged flexibility based on individual family preferences.
