The 14th Annual High School Juried Art Competition recently brought together student artists from Allen High School and Lowery Freshman Center for a districtwide celebration of visual art. More than 400 artworks were submitted and displayed in the PAC Gallery, highlighting the creativity and technical skill of high school visual art students.
The exhibition was made possible by sponsorship from the Allen Arts Alliance, which funded this year’s show. A total of 42 student artists were selected for honors by this year’s jurors.

The Allen Arts Alliance has invited the winning artworks to be displayed at Blue House Too Gallery at Watters Creek. A reception for that exhibition will be held on March 27 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
