Vaughan depends on and appreciates our parent volunteers!  Below are some of the ways to support our students and to get involved:  

• Join the Vaughan PTA and support its events and fundraisers

• Complete the AISD Background Check online each school year

• Volunteer to serve on the PTA Board

• Attend PTA and other school functions

• Volunteer to become a 'room parent' 

• Volunteer to help with class parties  

• Volunteer to chaperone field trips

• Volunteer to help teachers in the copy room or in the classroom

• Volunteer to read with students

• Volunteer to help in the library

• Volunteer to support after-school clubs

• Volunteer to coach a DI team

• Volunteer to help with the annual Red Ribbon Picnic, Veterans Day Celebration, End of Year Bash

• Volunteer to help with meals for Teacher Appreciation events

• Volunteer to run a station at Field Day

• Volunteer to be a WatchDOG

• Volunteer to help with Art Sparks program

• Volunteer to help decorate for special events or programs

• Volunteer to help with special projects in the classrooms

• Volunteer to read to primary classrooms

Please consider becoming a volunteer for our school!  There are numerous ways to help such as organizing YO packets, helping in the library, copying for teachers, reading with children, chaperoning field trips, decorating for Veterans Day, and many more!  All volunteers must go online to complete a Criminal Background check each school year.  This process can take up to two weeks, so apply now. Thank you for TEAMing with us to create a safe and caring environment for our Vaughan Vikings!
