Student Scholarships

Each November, the senior class at Allen High School is invited to apply for a variety of locally funded scholarships, organized into ONE application by the Foundation. This streamlines the process for students, encourages more students to apply, and provides a variety of quality applicants to the local funding organizations and businesses. For over 25 years, the Foundation has awarded scholarships to students through the generosity of donors. We are excited to announce that to date, the Foundation has awarded a total of 1,561 scholarships worth $1,488,200 dollars to graduating Allen High School seniors!

The Foundation offers a variety of scholarships ranging from those funded on an annual basis to endowed scholarships in which the principal gift is invested with the earnings awarded. Scholarship awards are sent directly to colleges, universities or trade schools, and the students may use the funds for tuition, room and board, fees and books. Scholarship awards must be used in the school year following graduation from Allen High School.

Scholarship Timeline: online applications open November 1, committee reviews mid-December through mid-January, student interviews early February, committee final reviews and placements in March, scholarship awards to be announced end of March via email. Awards ceremony and reception in April.
