We are thrilled to welcome Ms. Katie Rios as the new Assistant Principal at Boon Elementary! 💙❤️
Ms. Rios brings 17 years of experience in education, including the last 7 years in Allen ISD as an SSI Teacher and CIS, where she supported students and teachers across the district.
When she’s not at school, Ms. Rios enjoys playing games with her family, getting lost in a good mystery book, and spending time with her husband, her 19-year-old stepson, and their two dogs and cat. 🐶🐱📚
Ms. Rios is excited to get to know our students, families, and staff and to become an active part of the Boon community. We are so proud to welcome her to our leadership team and know she will be a wonderful addition!

-Drop them off in the Science Lab at the table marked for your house.
-MICROWAVABLE CAKE MIXES = Negative points for the house of your choice

🎉 Wrapping up the first nine weeks with so much to celebrate! From Kinder building independence, 1st graders enjoying Apple Day, 2nd graders mastering opinion writing, 3rd graders growing community circles, 4th graders exploring density & circuits, 5th graders rocking camp, to 6th graders leading with personal narratives and leadership roles — our Patriots are thriving! 🙌 Plus, fun campus events like the Book Vending Machine, Ice Cream Social, Patriot Dash, Dot Day, and more made this start to the year unforgettable!
