We are SO PROUD of our Allen Eagles boys varsity basketball team. The boys had a great season before falling to a tough Duncanville squad, 74-77, in the State Semifinals. Congrats to the entire team and coaching staff for an unbelievable run this year!

A team of Allen High School Students was recently honored by Rep. Keith Self for winning second place in the 2024 Congressional App Challenge. Team members are Varun Hittuvalli, Aayan Ali, Nikhil Saravana, and Saketh Sripada. The contest encourages students in each congressional district to foster an appreciation for computer science and STEM by designing and submitting original apps. The AHS team’s app, Civic Compass, provides personalized voting and election information by using location data for details about candidates, voting, and other election information. Congress members publicly recognize winning teams, and each winning app may be displayed in the U.S. Capitol Building for one year. A Frisco Centennial High School team won the challenge for Rep. Self’s district.
