Allen High School Fine Arts invites the community to experience the quirky charm of "The Addams Family: School Edition." This student-led musical brings together iconic characters, original songs, and a heartwarming message about embracing what makes us different.
Performances will take place inthe Allen Performing Arts Center on Thursday, Jan. 29, at 7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 30, at 7 p.m., and Saturday, Jan. 31 at noon and 6 p.m. Audiences will meet the unforgettable Addams family, Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday, Uncle Fester, and more as they navigate a hilarious clash between the spooky and the sweet.
This version of the Broadway hit has been adapted for young performers while preserving the humor and themes that made the show a fan favorite. With music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa and a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, the production is based on the beloved characters created by Charles Addams.
