Allen ISD is proud to announce that six student artists from Allen High School have been recognized in the 2025 Congressional Art Competition, a national contest sponsored by the U.S. House of Representatives.
Each spring, high school students from across the country submit original works of art for a chance to be recognized by their congressional district and have their art displayed in public government spaces.
Among this yearâs honorees, Allen High School senior Katie Zhou earned first place in Texasâ Third Congressional District with her piece âNurtured by Time.â As the top winner, her artwork will be displayed for one year in the Cannon Tunnel of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C.
