Film Students at All American Film Festival

Students from Allen High School's Film, Broadcast, and Animation classes recently traveled to New York City to participate in the All American High School Film Festival. Held October 17–20, the event brought together student filmmakers from across the country for screenings, networking events, and educational opportunities.

Allen students had the honor of seeing their work screened at the AMC Theater in Times Square, one of the festival’s premier venues. Their projects received nominations in multiple categories, including Best Animated Film, Best Original Score, and Best Video Podcast.

In addition to the screenings, students attended a variety of festival events, including college and technology fairs and networking sessions with industry professionals.

Current students who participated included Cooper Corr, Alma Yahalom, Adhav Vijay, Brianna Gomez, Ashly Nguyen, Aurelia Easton, Katie Le, Aracelii Thompson, and Raissa Douradoviana. Several alumni also returned to support their peers and connect with fellow creatives: Anthony Rodriguez, August Pascual, Brooke White, Aivry Lemons, Jamie Boyce, and Olivia Noh.

Congratulations to all the students for representing Allen High School with creativity and professionalism on a national stage.
