More than 60 young engineers recently attended the “Launching into Greatness,” four-day robotics camp held at Allen ISD’s STEAM Center. The camp, sponsored by the Lowery Freshman Center’s Aspire Robotics Club, was open to seventh through ninth graders.
The ASPIRE program participates in the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) robotics competition every year. The camp introduced middle and high school students to FTC and learn more about building, programming, and marketing robots.
