Allen High School is recognizing 80 seniors who have been named Commended Students in the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program. The students earned this distinction through their outstanding performance on the 2025 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
Approximately 34,000 students nationwide are being recognized as Commended Students for demonstrating exceptional academic promise. These students ranked among the 50,000 highest scorers who entered the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the qualifying exam.
