The Allen High School Girls Varsity Bowling Team has made history, capturing its third consecutive Texas State Championship. This is an unprecedented achievement in the 24-year history of high school bowling in Texas, with no other program having accomplished a “three-peat.” Team member Clara Campbell also distinguished herself individually as the State Singles Champion.
The championship team includes student-athletes Madison Choi, Milla Hakimi, Avamto Arun, Annika Svedvik, Clara Campbell, and Aeiress Bonner, under the leadership of coaches Cory Barber and Roland Martsolf. Their continued success reflects a strong combination of skill, teamwork, and dedication throughout the season. Madison also won third place in State Singles.
In addition to the girls’ historic win, the Allen bowling program celebrated other notable accomplishments. The Varsity Boys team earned the titles of District and Regional Champions. Team members include Tyson Nguyen, Alberto Svedvik, Jalen Brown, Evan Tran, Aiden Peele, Axhel Castillo, and Hayden McBride, coached by Ben Walk. Also, Girls Team members were named All-District: Milla Hakimi, Madison Choi, Clara Campbell, Annika Svedvik.
