Strengthening community partnerships through leadership and service

The Board recognized Allen Police Chief Steve Dye as the 2026 Friend of Education Award recipient for his commitment to student growth, safety, and community connection. Since joining the City of Allen, Chief Dye has strengthened partnerships between Allen ISD and the Allen Police Department, expanded student-focused programs, and supported initiatives that build trust and mentorship opportunities for students.
