The Allen High School Cheer program has qualified for the 2026 National High School Cheerleading Championship, one of the most prestigious events in the country, after finishing in the top 10 at the UCA Houston Regional.
Competing in the largest division at the regional event, the team secured a placement that earned them a coveted invitation to the national competition. The 2026 championship will be held February 6–8 in Orlando, Florida, and will be broadcast on ESPN.
This year’s event introduces a new Intermediate Division designed to group teams with similar technical skills. It will also feature the inaugural National School Spirit Championships, combining cheer, dance, and band in a new Spirit Program Game Day division. The goal is to create an inclusive experience that recognizes the full scope of school spirit.
Spectator registration and event packages are available through the Varsity.com website.
Congratulations to the Allen High School Cheer program on this achievement and good luck at Nationals.
