The competition brought Police Explorer teams from agencies and schools across the region to Allen for a night of realistic law enforcement scenarios. Participating groups included Grand Prairie ISD, Plano Police Department, Burleson High School, LaGrone Academy, Ellis County Sheriff’s Office, Bedford, Mesquite Police Department, Richardson, San Antonio Police Department and Whitehouse High School.

Throughout the event, teams rotated through 10 different scenarios across locations in the City of Allen. Scenario sites included the Allen Train Station, Allen Flower Shop, Allen Police Department Driving Track, Eagle Designs, the APD Boxing Gym, Allen Heritage Village, McDermott Ranch, Andrews Distributing, Eagle Stadium and Hydrous.

The overnight format allowed students to apply their training, critical thinking, teamwork, and professionalism in situations modeled after real public safety work. The schedule was designed to reflect the demands of an overnight patrol shift, with scenario rotations continuing through the night before the awards ceremony early the next morning.

Check-in and the awards ceremony were held at the STEAM Center. Judges, actors, advisors, and event staff supported the competition throughout the evening and early morning hours.

The event showcased the preparation and dedication of Police Explorers who are interested in serving their communities through law enforcement and public safety. It was made possible through the partnership and support of the Allen Police Department, police advisors, and Allen High School Police Explorers.
