Senior Portrait Sessions
Book your appointment through Cady Photography: Book Your Senior Portraits
Deadline for senior portraits: November 1, 2025
Prior to your photo session:
Know the studio location. This is in your session confirmation email.
Get plenty of sleep the night before so you look well-rested.
Make sure your outfits are wrinkle-free (iron or steamed) .
Pack your outfits, jewelry, and other accessories .
Pack your clothes for your yearbook and cap & gown scenes .
Cady has caps, gowns, and stoles in the studio if you need to borrow them.
Pack a makeup bag and hair supplies for touch-ups.
(Girls) Pack a spaghetti strap or strapless tank top to wear under the drape. Senior girls wear a drape across their shoulders for their photos.
(Boys) Pack a white undershirt . Senior boys wear a tuxedo for their photos.
Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled session time. If you need to reschedule, please do so at least 48 hours in advance.
If you want your photo in the yearbook and the photo slideshow that plays on the scoreboard during graduation, you must have your photo taken by November 1, 2025.
Graduation Regalia
Josten's is our vendor for graduation regalia: caps, gowns, tassels, invitations, and any other Class of 2026 memorabilia.
All graduates receive a white stole with their regalia purchase.
Specific regalia and stoles for Top Ten graduates, Top 10%, Top 25%, etc., are distributed in late spring.
Cords and medallions specific to clubs/organizations are also distributed in late spring.

We changed the shade of blue for AHS regalia after the Class of 2022 graduated. If you want to borrow someone else's cap and gown, borrow from a '23, '24, or '25 grad. You will need a tassel if you borrow regalia. You can order a tassel at the Josten's link above.

Dual Credit Info for Seniors
If you are a senior enrolled in Dual Credit classes and you plan to attend Collin College:
You do not need to reapply or send a final high school transcript to Collin College
You should schedule an appointment with the Collin College and Career Counselor, Brittany Cortez.
You will need to send an AP Score Report to Collin College to be evaluated for transfer credit.
Seniors enrolled in Dual Credit classes who plan to attend a university other than Collin College should follow the application instructions for the institutions where they are applying.

Get your senior photo taken
Purchase regalia
Complete the FAFSA, TAFSA, or Financial Aid opt-out form.
FAFSA opens October 1
TAFSA is intended for students without a social security number
Financial Aid opt-out form is in Skyward under "Online Forms"
Complete CPR and Peace Officer Trainings
To see if you have completed CPR, Peace Officer, and FAFSA/TAFSA/Opt-Out, check your transcript in Skyward under Portfolio. If there is a date next to the requirement, you have already completed it!
Participate in senior checkout in Spring 2026: this is where you will pay any fines owed, pick up your graduation regalia, and turn in any items owed. Senior checkout info will go out to students in the spring.
