Dress Code 2024-2025
General Clothing Guidelines
Clothes must be worn in a way that all private body parts are covered and undergarments should not be visible at any time, including when students are standing, reaching, bending, or sitting.
Students must wear at all times (while following the basic principle above):
An opaque (not see-through) top that must cover the stomach, back, sides, and private body parts
An opaque (not see-through) bottom that must be visible at all times and must cover all undergarments and private body parts.
ID cards must be worn around the student's neck and visible at all times during the school day and on district transportation.
Shoes
Students may wear as long as these items do not violate the principles above:
Pants, including leggings, yoga pants, and skinny jeans
Ripped pants and shorts as long as underwear and private body parts are not exposed
Athletic shorts and athletic skirts
Sleeveless shirt, so long as the basic principles are met above
Hoodies (hood must not cover head)
Religious headwear
Students may NOT wear:
Pictures, emblems, symbols, slogans, or writings that are lewd, offensive, vulgar, obscene, contains sexual innuendos, tobacco, alchohol, drugs, controlled substances, creates a hostile, violent or intimidating environment, or other items prohibited at school that may cause a disruption
Accessories or clothing that could be considered dangerous or used as a weapon including tactical apparel or gear
Sunglasses, hats, and any other covering that conceal the face from clear view that are not for medical or religious reasons
Sleepwear, including pajama pants
House shoes or roller shoes
