Allen ISD recognizes staff who exemplify our three district goals, Culture of Excellence, Future Ready Skills and Empowered Learning, in the work they do every day, honoring the dedication and collaboration of staff members who work to support student success. Through the Allen ISD Employee Recognition Program, we highlight individuals and teams demonstrating exceptional commitment to their roles. Allen ISD recently recognized Green Elementary Grade Level Chairs, the Boon Elementary Second Grade Team, and Keith Hyatt from Allen High School for Future Ready Skills.
Green Elementary Grade Level Chairs Recognized for Campus Leadership and Student Growth
The Grade Level Chairs at Green Elementary worked tirelessly over the summer to prepare for a successful school year. They designed a new Leadership Buck system to encourage the 7 Leadership Habits, strengthened parent communication, refined positive behavior systems, and created schoolwide assemblies that celebrate leadership in action. Their dedication is already shaping strong, capable student leaders.
Allen High Schoolâs Keith Hyatt Recognized for Innovation in A.I.
At Allen High School, Social Studies teacher Keith Hyatt is redefining classroom learning through artificial intelligence. He created interactive A.I. tutor bots that allow students to converse with historical figures, along with a calendar bot that answers student questions about assignments. His forward-thinking approach equips students with tools and experiences that represent the future of learning.
Boon Elementary Second Grade Team Recognized for Fostering Kindness
The second-grade team at Boon Elementary launched the âDonut Different Challengeâ, where students choose acts of kindness to complete with their families, then reflect through journaling and class discussions. This effort fosters community connections, encourages empathy, and builds studentsâ understanding of how small actions create a big impact.
