TEA Releases 2024 & 2025 Accountability Ratings
Allen ISD Earns Overall "A" in 2025 Texas Accountability Ratings
On August 15th, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) publicly released the 2024 and 2025 Accountability Ratings for all Texas school districts and campuses. These ratings are based on student performance data from the 2023–2024 and 2024-2025 school years, including STAAR/EOC results, graduation rates, and college, career, and military readiness (CCMR) outcomes. Though the 2024 Accountability data represents data from the 2023-2024 school year, this marks the first time these results have been made public due to an extended statewide legal delay that has now been dismissed.
Ratings in Summary
Under the state’s A–F Accountability Ratings System, three domains are evaluated: Student Achievement, School Progress, and Closing the Gaps.
At the campus level, 2024 ratings within Allen ISD include:
16 campuses received an A rating.
3 campuses received a B rating.
2 elementary campuses received a C rating.
1 elementary campus received a D rating.
In 2024, the District’s Domain 1 and 3 scores were impacted by a rule within the Accountability System wherein a District cannot earn above an 89 in a domain or overall if any campus in the district earns below a 70 in that domain or overall. The actual calculated scores for the District prior to the capping rule were a 91 in Domain 1 and a 90 in Domain 3.
At the campus level, 2025 ratings within Allen ISD include:
19 campuses received an A rating.
1 elementary campus received a B rating.
2 elementary campuses received a C rating.
At the district level, Allen ISD received an Overall Rating of A in 2025. In addition to the letter grades for each campus and the district, the accountability ratings system awards Distinction Designations to campuses based on performance in comparison to a group of 40 very similar campuses across Texas. The designations reflect outstanding performance in specific areas such as postsecondary readiness, academic growth, or student achievement in Reading Language Arts, Math, Science, or Social Studies. Allen ISD was awarded a total of 43 Distinction Designations across 13 campuses in 2025.
Allen ISD’s most current 2025 ratings, along with a detailed overview of the A–F Accountability System and calculation methodology, are available on the district’s Accountability webpage. Both 2024 and 2025 ratings are available publicly on TEA’s website, txschools.org. A direct link to the Allen ISD page is provided here.
