The Allen ISD Human Resources Department's mission is to attract, develop, and retain qualified professionals and to maintain an effective workforce dedicated to elementary and secondary education.

The award-winning district serves most of the city of Allen, Texas, and sections of Parker and McKinney. The suburban community is located 23 miles north of Dallas. As of 2024, Allen ISD is ranked as the best district in Collin County according to Niche.com. The City of Allen is commonly ranked on the “Best Cities to Live” lists.
