The Allen ISD Human Resources Department's mission is to attract, develop and retain qualified professionals and to maintain an effective workforce dedicated to elementary and secondary education.

The award-winning district serves the majority of the city of Allen, Texas, as well as sections of Parker and McKinney. The suburban community is located 23 miles north of Dallas. As of 2023, Allen ISD is ranked as the eleventh-best district in Texas according to Niche.com. The City of Allen is commonly ranked on the “Best Cities to Live” lists.
