Allen ISD recently honored two outstanding educators, Lindsey Cipoletta from Norton Elementary School and Ariane Labrzycki from Curtis Middle School, as the 2025 District Teachers of the Year.
They were first announced publicly earlier this spring and formally recognized recently during the Employee Recognition Banquet, where videos highlighting their work debuted for the first time.
Elementary Teacher of the Year:
Lindsey Cipoletta, Norton Elementary School
Lindsey Cipoletta, known to students as "Coach Cip," serves as the P.E. coach at Norton Elementary. A graduate of Texas A&M-Commerce, she began her career in Miller Grove ISD and Sulphur Springs ISD before joining Allen ISD as a math teacher at Lindsey Elementary. She transitioned to her role at Norton in 2022.
Coach Cip focuses on building a lifelong love of health, fitness, and nutrition among her students. She leads initiatives such as the 21-Day Snacking Challenge and established the Norton Run Club to promote healthy lifestyles for students and their families. Through her work, she empowers students to make positive, informed choices for their well-being.

Secondary Teacher of the Year: Ariane Labrzycki, Curtis Middle School
Ariane Labrzycki teaches seventh-grade science and serves as the head volleyball coach for eighth grade at Curtis Middle School. A former Division I athlete and team captain at the University of New Orleans, she earned a double bachelor’s degree before completing her master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology at Cal State Long Beach.
Ariane is committed to building a positive culture of excellence at Curtis Middle School, encouraging leadership, accountability, and collaboration among students. Her influence extends beyond the classroom to campus pep rallies, theme nights at volleyball games, and other events that strengthen the school community. Ariane has five years of teaching experience, including three at Curtis.
