Allen ISD - Where Eagles Soar

FutureReadyFriday is a highlight of our seniors and their future plans. This highlight is about Sarah Pickard.

Sarah Pickard is a graduating senior at Allen High School involved in Choir, Dance, WINGs/PALs leadership, Jesus Club, and ALL-IN at Allen. Her time at Allen High School was filled with connection and growth. One of her favorite memories was joining clubs that extended beyond the classroom, where she met many of her closest friends.

Sarah shared that the flexibility and structure of high school helped prepare her for college. She learned to manage responsibilities, maintain mental health, and balance school with life outside of it. She says the lessons of choosing the right friends and staying on track will guide her in the next phase of life.

Sarah encourages new students at Allen High School to take charge of their experience. Her advice: “These are only the best years of your life if you make them the best.”

Sarah plans to attend Oklahoma State University to major in Psychology and minor in Music.
