FutureReadyFriday is a highlight of our seniors and their future plans. This highlight is about Brooke Herman.
Brooke Herman is a senior at Allen High School and a member of the orchestra. Her favorite memory was using the pod areas during 7th period privilege in her sophomore year. That time gave her the space to relax and feel independent.
Brooke took full advantage of the career and elective courses offered at Allen High School. These experiences helped her build communication and leadership skills. She credits the variety of course options with helping her identify her goals and prepare for her future career in education.
Her advice to new students is to enjoy high school while it lasts, follow the rules, and take as many dual credit classes as possible.
Brooke plans to attend the University of North Texas to study Mathematics for Secondary Education.
