Allen ISD - Where Eagles Soar

Keira Keney is a senior at Allen High School involved in Chorale, the Encore Show Choir as a technician, Tri-M Music Honor Society, and the Korean-American Student Association. These activities helped her grow as a student and find her interests.

One of her favorite memories is traveling with her choir to perform at major choral conventions, including TMEA and SWACDA. Singing with close friends and representing Allen High School was a meaningful experience.

After graduation, Keira plans to attend the University of Texas at Dallas to study marketing with a focus on advertising and branding. Her goal is to transfer to the University of Texas at Austin to major in advertising and pursue a career in music marketing.

Keira credits her time at Allen High School with helping her discover what she enjoys and building her time management and study skills. These experiences helped her become more well-rounded and prepared for college life.

She advises incoming students to get involved and stay connected with the school. She believes that the more students participate in school activities, the more enjoyable high school becomes.
