Reese Mitchell is a senior at Allen High School who has participated in tennis, Teaching Silver, and the Search Club. These programs gave Reese a chance to learn new skills, connect with peers, and prepare for life after high school.
Reese's favorite memories come from early mornings and late nights with the tennis team. The relationships built through those experiences have had a lasting impact.
After graduation, Reese plans to attend the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) to study Business in Integrated Marketing Communication. Taking dual credit classes at Allen High School helped Reese get ready for college academics. Being part of a large class also prepared Reese to meet and work with new people in college.
Reese says that time management and being involved were key parts of success in high school. These habits will continue to be important in college. For new students, Reese recommends finding a balance—get involved, manage your time, and enjoy the experience.
