Future Ready Friday - Marisa Munguia

At Allen High School, Marisa Munguia participated in varsity bowling and played violin in orchestra. Her time in health classes helped her discover a passion for nursing. She found she not only liked the subject but also excelled in it. That experience helped shape her future goals.

One of her favorite memories was winning the high school team bowling state championship. It was the first time Allen High School earned that title since 2009.

Marisa plans to pursue both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Nursing. Her time at Allen High School gave her the foundation to move forward with confidence. She values the opportunities she had and encourages others to seek out similar experiences.

To students new to Allen High School, she recommends getting involved and making the most of all four years. Her advice is to take action and not wait—especially when it comes to deadlines.
