Encore Delivers Festive Cheer with 2025 Holiday Special

Allen High School’s show choir, Encore, recently presented its 2025 Holiday Special under the direction of Trenton Davis. The seasonal showcase brought together classic carols, holiday pop favorites, and standout student features in a festive evening of music and performance.

Encore performed multiple full ensemble numbers, including “You Make It Feel Like Christmas,” “Bring Me Love,” “Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town,” “Carol of the Bells,” “Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays,” and “Grown Up Christmas List.” The group also performed “Go Tell It on the Mountain,” featuring returning Encore alumni.

  • Avery Searcy and Lydia Mathews performed “Love to Keep Me Warm”

  • Swarit Daulatani led “Like It’s Christmas,” joined by Arshia Bajaj and Rahul Mukherjee

  • Carter Reed was featured in “Please Come Home for Christmas” with Peyton Shewmaker, Eli Cramer, Avery Searcy, and Maximus Lo

  • Arshia Bajaj delivered a solo performance of “Something About December”

  • Peyton Shewmaker and Dominick Marsiglia teamed up for “Winter Wonderland / Let It Snow”

  • Maximus Lo performed “I Need You Christmas” with Mikelle Lee

  • Grace Heidenreich was featured in “The Christmas Song”

  • Mikelle Lee led “Merry Christmas, Darling” with Grace Heidenreich and Avery Searcy
