Allen ISD Leadership Academy recently held its final meeting of the 2025-2026 school year, bringing participants together for a day focused on district operations, reflection and service.
The session began with an overview of School Finance with Dr. Kyle Penn, Assistant Superintendent for Business and Technology, followed by a tour of the Technology Department led by Dr. Nelson Orta, Executive Director of Technology Services.
The group traveled to Boyd Elementary for service projects. Dr. Julie DeLeon, Boyd Elementary Principal, led the participants through opportunities to support the campus with projects from fixing desks to organizing storage rooms.
The Allen ISD Leadership Academy is designed to give participants a closer look at district programs, departments and decision-making while building connections across the school community.
