Clara Coppinger - Future Ready Spotlight

Clara Coppinger participated in PALs, WINGS, and the National Honor Society. Music played a large role in life at Allen High School through the marching band, Wind Ensemble, and full symphonic orchestra. Marching in the Tournament of Roses Parade and attending high-energy pep rallies are standout memories. Clara enjoyed the school spirit and the talent of the athletic teams.

The PALs program offered valuable experience working with other students. This helped Clara prepare for a career supporting those with special needs. Navigating a large campus and completing multiple AP and Dual Credit hours also provided a head start for college. Clara feels ready for the academic and social demands of a university setting.

Clara suggests that new students get involved to find a sense of community. Building connections makes a large school feel smaller. On a practical note, Clara also recommends arriving at school early to secure a parking spot.
