Karin Braverman made the most of her time at Allen High School by diving into everything from healthcare to school spirit. She balanced roles in HOSA, Red Cross, Best Buddies, Girls in STEM, Sports Medicine, the drill team, the swim team, and PALs. One of her favorite traditions was standing on the field during every football game, cheering on her peers alongside the crowd.
Through the district's career readiness programs, Karin earned her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification before receiving her diploma. This training gave her workforce-ready skills and a head start on her career goals. Her experience at Allen High School solidified her passion for medicine and helping others.
Karin advises incoming students to put themselves out there rather than worrying about what others are doing. She believes that focusing on personal interests and joining relevant clubs is the best way to find a community of like-minded friends.
