Twenty-five Allen High School seniors recently earned recognition as Semifinalists in the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program. These outstanding scholars represent less than 1% of high school seniors across the nation. This achievement highlights the dedicated academic spirit thriving throughout Allen ISD.
Over 1.2 million juniors from 20,000 high schools entered the competition through the 2026 PSAT/NMSQT exam. These 25 Allen High School students now compete for 6,700 scholarships worth nearly $24 million. Finalists in the program will be announced in February 2027.
Allen ISD celebrates these remarkable students for reaching the highest levels of academic accomplishment. Their dedication reflects the tradition of excellence and strong community support that defines Allen ISD.
