Community members recently gathered at the Allen ISD STEAM Center for an energetic evening of connection and learning at Community Engagement Night. Attendees explored topics designed to support student growth and family well-being.
Participants selected from a wide array of informative breakout sessions throughout the evening. Dr. Ryan Smith presented valuable insights regarding artificial intelligence and children. Executive Director of Technology Dr. Nelson Orta shared critical strategies for cybersecurity, passwords, and internet safety, while Nelson provided practical tips for keeping families safe online.
Local experts and district staff offered guidance on health, safety, and wellness. Allen ISD Chef Anna Reynolds demonstrated healthy, budget friendly cooking options, and shared easy recipes for busy households. STEAM Center students led guided tours showcasing the state-of-the-art campus.
The event highlighted the supportive culture and educational excellence that define Allen ISD. Strong community partnerships continue to ensure our students and families thrive together.
