Before the Thanksgiving Break, the Allen Philharmonic Symphony put on a performance for fourth graders in Allen ISD at the AHS PAC. The performance featured performances from many Allen ISD students as well!
The Curtis and Ereckson Middle School Math and Science Teams recently competed in the Welcome to the Texas Math and Science Coaches Association (TSMCA) Invitational Meet with Ereckson winning the Sweepstakes award and four event categories. Curtis came in second in the Sweepstakes.
Ereckson won first place in all four team events - General Math, Calculator Applications, Number Sense and Science. Curtis won second place in General Math, third place in Number Sense and third place in Calculator Applications.

Curtis Middle School students recently experienced the wonders of Virtual Reality during Mona Abdelkarim’s science class. The VR devices were donated by Meta Quest 2 to Curtis in a pilot project to gauge their application across the district.
Green Elementary School recently hosted a World Culture Night. Green families shared their culture, traditions, food, and fun during the PTA-sponsored event.

CLASS OF 2024: The senior class is invited to apply for a variety of locally funded scholarships, organized into ONE application by the Foundation. This streamlines the process for students, encourages more students to apply, and provides a variety of quality applicants to the local funding organizations and businesses. The criteria spans from test scores and GPA to extracurricular activities and financial need. Students of all ages dressed up for Halloween at the STEAM Center, including Vaughan Elementary Second Graders, who were there to enjoy the wonderful learning program that the STEAM center offers to every single Allen ISD Elementary student.
